GUIDED TOURS 

The tour lasts 45 minutes and is led by an expert guide who can tell the story of the Gorge in an engaging way, even for children.

The route is very straightforward; however, it is not wheelchair accessible due to steps and narrow spaces. Please note the presence of exposed balconies and narrow passages, which may cause discomfort for those suffering from vertigo or claustrophobia.

The route is largely covered, so tours take place even in the rain (no special clothing required: trainers and a light waterproof jacket are sufficient).

There are no restroom facilities on-site, and waiting areas are limited.

Dogs are permitted but must be kept on a leash at all times, given the narrow spaces and numerous open-mesh walkways overlooking the drop.

GROUP BOOKINGS (over 15 people): Please email info@ecoargentario.it at least 10 days prior to your intended visit date. Propose a day (weekdays included) and time, and specify the number of participants (fee: €80 per group, max 25 people).

Special rates available for schools within the Ecomuseum area.

Cancellations must be notified at least 7 days in advance.

Address

The entrance to the Gorge is located along the road (Via Valsugana – Trento) connecting Trento to the SS47 Valsugana highway, next to the “La Gnoccata" restaurant.

Parking

Free parking is available in a large lot on Via Ponte Alto (near the sports center).

Useful information for the visit

– The tour route involves using stairs to descend into the canyon. Bear in mind that you will have to climb back up the steps to return

– please inform the guide upon arrival if you have any pre-existing medical conditions or are not feeling well

– be mindful of the heat during the initial section

– access is permitted only with closed-toe, low-heeled shoes (no flip-flops or clogs) due to the narrow, wet stairs

– temperatures inside the gorge are slightly lower, and humidity levels are high

– the tour proceeds even in the event of rain

– please observe safety guidelines during the visit

– you may cancel your booking independently up to 24 hours in advance
